Olympic Color: Freebie Winner
Ok, now it’s time to find out who’s about to get painted thanks to this week’s giveaway from Olympic. And hopefully you guys had fun playing with the ColorClix tool like we did. Anyone come up with any great or unexpected color combos?
As for our winners, we’ve doused random.org in zero VOC paint and it revealed the names of the three folks who are getting a room full of paint…. Mira Williams (who has some paneling to brighten up), MLJ (who has a patched living room wall that needs painting) and Margie M (who has two new grandkids on the way, meaning two nurseries to paint). Congrats everyone! We’d love to know what colors you’ve got your eyes on.

And don’t worry if you didn’t win this week. Monday’s giveaway is coincidentally also paint related, but it comes from an artist unlike any that we’ve ever seen. Stay tuned…
See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Olympic Paints.

This is unrelated to the contest, but I just wanted to thank you for all your blogging. Your creativity and ideas definitely rub off! My fiance and I have been busy organizing and decorating our new house and we have fallen madly in love with it. We are going to be on a local historic home tour in our area, and some of your ideas definitely help us get ready! Thanks for all you guys do! Love it!

Thank you so much!!! I think we’re going to choose a cool, light green :). Its going to be so much nicer and brighter once we get it all painted! I’m so excited for the change!!
Congrats!
Congratulations Mira! Hopefully we can see pictures when you’re done painting.
@Mira…congrats!!! I’ve been using Olympic paint throught my new home…matter of fact I’m about to paint my wood paneling (sooo ugly) in the family room. I want to see pics of your finished work. I’ll post pics on my blog next week of my finished work (click my name for blog). Anyway….congrats!
Lucky ducks! Have fun painting!!!
Clearly I didn’t win because my name doesn’t start with an M. Congrats all!! :)
Olympic advertises as being zero VOC “in any color,” but this is misleading, as VOCs are present in the colorant and then are added to the base paint when the customer orders a color. I hope that they develop a truly zero-VOC paint soon (and for the same great price, ha!)…
Thank you so much! I am very excited to get started painting. After talking to the kids, we decided it would be put to best use in my son Matt’s living room. We chose D13-2 Toasted Almond. If you check out his new blog you will be able to see that it may be a bit before the painting starts. http://themorseproject.blogspot.com/
I have enjoyed your site so much, you are a true inspiration. Thank you again!

We’ve decided we’re going to re-wire and re-insulate and then sheetrock before we paint… Don’t wanna use this nice paint only to pull it down. However, we will send pics once we get it all fixed up! Thanks again John and Sherry!
