Bamboo-tiful: Freebie Winner!
Like many of you (who mentioned it during this week’s giveaway from Smock Paper) Sherry and I are both notebook jotters as well. I’ve got a plain medium sized spiral notebook next to my computer at all times and Sherry keeps lists and reminders on everything from her desk calendar and random sheets of paper to magazine pages and a small notebook that fits in her purse. Clearly both of us could benefit from the beautifully designed and sustainably printed wares of Smock Paper.

I truly can’t believe I won this! I thought all my luck had run out lately with a husband working nearly 70 hours a week (YIKES) and 3 children with sports and school. Soooo happy but waiting until my head clears a little to decide what I’m getting. Those boxes are calling my name, I love the idea of a pretty notepad and maybe even using it for Christmas gift-giving. Hmmmm….you have given me limitless possibilities! Thank you for the opportunity and tell Burger my dogs say ‘hello’ (especially Floyd because he’s the little dog here who lives with the rottweilers; it’s a small dog thing).

The pictures of the paper are so pretty; I need to check put the site and see if they have planners! Even though I love losing clutter by using technology, I can’t get over the fear that the calendar on my phone or computer will disappear with all of my info, so I keep an old-fashion planner. I also am quilty of printing articles and readings for grad school off to read in hard copy instead of on the computer…I know I wince at the paper, but it’s easier on my eyes!

Just want to say your website inspired me to do alot of the work on my wife’s and I ranch house we purchased in june 2011. Between the birth of our first child Asia and closing I was completely stressed with making sure the house was ready. I must admit I copied every tip in regards to painting the front door red. Which I must say saved me over 400 bucks on buying a new one. I also painted every room minus the den which has panelling. Im just a rookie at this whole homeowner thing but Im so glad I found you guys to teach me. God bless you all and enjoy your holiday.
