I went back to see what you two did with the monitor situation, but couldn't ever see it in any of the pictures- so I must ask, what did you do with the baby monitor that is next to the crib? But it's definitely one of those personal choices every parent has to make! Around 8 months along we did get a thin breathable bumper (they sell those now at places like Babies R Us) which kept her little legs and arms in without being thick enough to impede breathing.
