So what is kaarskoker? Literally, it’s the Dutch words for candle and sleeve smooshed together. But what is a candle sleeve? Basically it’s a why-didn’t-we-think-of-that way to help you rescue any old sconce or past-its-style-prime light fixture and liven it up with a whole new look. I love the change of seasons. By the time winter comes I am so ready to bring out the sweaters and scarfs (scarfs are my favorite!), but then as warm weather approaches I look forward to wearing my flip flops (I think I have every color imaginable).

i am 100% with angiebee. i LOVE wearing flip-flops or comfy flats in the summer. i cannot WAIT to put away my socks. in fact, i just love not having to layer up any more. i hate riding my bike with a heavy jacket, scarf, gloves, hat… everything’s so much lighter in the summer and i <3 that! :)

Just returned from Mexico and flip flops everyday. Coming back to snow in Richmond was a bit of a shock! I’ve had enough of scarves and boots.
