Gorgeous! My dad and sister used fewer corks by cutting each in half and gluing the flat side to the board. You won’t have to collect as many corks to create a large board! You can also vary the depth of it by putting some whole corks and some half corks.

I know this post is old (but I’m reading through the archives). Just wanted to let everyone know that I found a great place for wine corks to use as vase filler or for this project. The recycling center! Near the glass recycling where I live, they also had a place for recycling corks, and they are happy for you to take them off their hands. Free and recycled, what could be better?
