Drink By Number Freebie Winner!

Reading everyone’s entries on this week’s giveaway from Whitewash Sundries got us thirsty enough to run off into the kitchen for our favorite beverages. Sherry’s usually just a water girl (although pregnancy has her downing lots of lemonade and chocolate milk) and I decided my all-time favorite beverage is a root beer float (half dessert, half soda, all awesome). Though I’m not sure a root beer float would look so good in this week’s prize of 8 hand-etched wine glasses– but Whitewash Sundries does offer monogrammed beer mugs that’d do the trick quite nicely.

And guess what? If you don’t happen to win this week, you can still score a set of wine glasses, beer mugs or anything else from Whitewash Sundries’ shop and get 10% refunded from your purchase by entering YOUNGHOUSELOVE in the message to seller when you order through next Thursday. Heck, you could also grab a set of the zinc place cards that this week’s winner will also be receiving.

And speaking of this week’s winner, after liquoring up random.org a bit, we got it to reveal that this week’s randomly selected winner is… Erin B (who prefers beer when watching football and sangria when watching The Bachelor). Congrats Erin!

Of course we’ve got another giveaway lined up for next week- and because this freebie was all about the numbers, we figured we should give letters a chance to shine on Monday. Stay tuned…

PS: Don’t forget Whitewash Sundries’ dog-friendly giveaway over on Burger’s blog this week. He also announced his winner today, so be sure to go see if it’s you.

I just had to comment because I’m 11 weeks pregnant and can’t get enough lemonade and chocolate milk – sometimes it’s all I want, even in lieu of food. How funny – I wonder if those drinks are common among the knocked up?

    Love your blog!

I’m jumping on the bandwagon! I’m 35 weeks and in the first trimester lemonade was all I wanted… now toward the end it’s chocolate milk ALL the time! Although a week or two ago I discovered the joy of dumping oreo’s into milk and spooning them out. Yeah… right when you think you can’t get any fatter!

Weird I wonder if there is anything to that like if the lemonade is for the acid and the milk is for the extra lactic acid or something strange like that..maybe someone could ask “almost Dr. Dan”?..?

I’ve heard that the chocolate milk means that we need more calcium and citrus cravings are super common (and mean that we need more vitamin C). Crazy eh? All I know is that I take my multivitamins but I still can’t get enough!

Thanks again John, Sherry, Burger, and Baby P! I promise I will cherish my numbers and will think of you every time I watch The Bachelor (and they will now become my designated chocolate milk glasses as well!)
Like I said, I never win ANYTHING, so it’s extra special to me…and my hubby said thanks for making his wife’s wine time happy while he’s far far away!

Wow, I’m 5 months pregnant with my 3rd child; I have a 5year old boy a 2 year old girl.

Sherry you are very beautiful. You, your husband and your dog have a beautiful Karma.

Anyway I just wanted to say that with this pregnancy I discovered lemonade… I drink at least 2 glasses a day; thing I never did before.

I don’t complaint because lemonade is really good and my husband makes sure that there is always supplies in the fridge. :-)

Again, I really love your guys’ blog and personality.

    Take care.

I have been following your blog for about 6 months and absolutely love it! Your posts are helpful, entertaining, and have given me the confidence to try many DIY things I wouldn’t have even thought about before! I am so happy for you and your little bean! :) I wanted to let you know about a product that I just purchased that I think you would really like, especially for the baby’s first year. It is Project Life and the idea is that you take a picture a day and then do a little journaling. It is a beautifully designed product and such a simple way to record memories (both of which I thought you would appreciate). You can find more information about Project Life at beckyhiggins.com. Thank your for such a great blog!

So funny! Count me in on the (27 weeks) pregnant-and-craving-lemonade-and-chocolate-milk bandwagon… I can’t get enough! Also can’t wait to see more of your nursery. Good luck with everything!
