Love the color pallette and especially love the colors of the pillows. We just painted our family room in a similar color scheme.

We just got the Dolce Lounge Chair in the cream and brown vine pattern for Christmas. I am in love with it! It looks so great with our orange leather sofa :) And it only took my hub half an hour to put it together.

I always love to see what you guys come up with on the mood board. You always surprise me at how well you're able to come up with something the owner loves. Keep up the good work and congrats on the baby. Can't wait to see the nursery!!!

I must say that you nailed the furniture layout! Whenever I read one of your moodboards, I just read the letter first and scan the before pics. I try to figure out an arrangement on my own... just for fun...before I read your solutions. I was at a loss on where to put the TV but that corner unit fits just perfectly. I love the way you turn the 'problems' of a room into unique character. Oh, and I'm really, really, really holding myself back on getting those green berry pillows. Man, they're tempting.

Good question! We actually received a few emails from readers telling us that they love their JC Penney sofas who suggested them as a great resource for our mood boards (at the time we were recommending a lot of Ikea and Room & Board sofas so they thought JC Penney was a fantastic alternative). So while we can't personally attest to their comfort and quality, many readers have loved them! Hope it helps.

Hey Jonel,

We're so glad to hear that you're still loving the mood board and that things are arriving and even earning your boyfriend's seal of approval. We wish you tons of luck getting the room together and we can't wait to see how it all turns out!

I love my mood board. My boyfriend and I have different tastes but so far everything that I have ordered and put in the room has his seal of approval. He loves the room color, the painting (gorgeous in person) and rug. We have been having some shipping/thief issues (two of my orders have been delivered but I did not receive them). One of them has been resolved (the painting- they reshipped it to me) but I am waiting on the pendant light to be resolved. Hopefully soon! Unfortunately I couldn't do the sectional (it was my favorite part) because I was scared it was a bit too large (but I remember the price with shipping and 8% was around 1600 or so, HTH the person wondering about the price) but I found a similar sofa and chase to get the same look. The entire mood board is such a great inspiration for the finished look. The floors under the carpeting ended up being gross so we are going to install IKEA laminate flooring. I hope to have after pictures once all is done. Thanks for the additional ideas as well everyone!

I LOVE this mood board! I wondered why is struck me so hard, then I looked up from the computer and realized we used the same colors in our living room! (Good to know I am on the right track...) I pasted a storage unit from pier 1 that we have next to our fireplace (tv mounted above) that holds DVDs and X box components. It might be another option to the open bookshelves you suggested in the board...but a little more costly.

Great mood board! Love the color scheme, and the pieces you have chosen can go from being very informal to more formal, just by changing out some of the accessories. Thanks for the feedback on the Dolce chairs as well. My husband and I saw them in a couple of your other rooms and loved them. However, when we went to buy them, we read the reviews about the assembly and got a little scared off. I have been looking for chairs like these for quite some time though, so with your reassurnace..we may have to purchase them afterall;)
