Supper Managment Freebie Winner!
While it was great to hear all of the meals you’ve mastered, what we’re curious about now is whether any of you have discovered anything new from this week’s giveaway sponsor: You’ve Got Supper. Who, by the way, just recently launched their own iPhone app that’s available in the official iTunes app store. You can literally mix things up for dinner with their Supper Spinner tool. Um… fun!
But before I get any hungrier, let’s spill the beans (mmmm, beans) about who won You’ve Got Supper’s $100 grocery gift card. After all, what better way to take their free service for a spin than with some free food? Random.org chewed on the entries for a moment and spat out our winner: Amanda (who totally owes us her recipe for baked butternut squash with garlic and kale). Congrats!
Next week’s prize is ripe for those who’ve finished sharing a meal and are ready to share a DIY project together. Stay tuned for that on Monday…

Aww I thought it was me! Haha. Maybe next time. And I guess I won’t feel too bad if she shares her butternut squash recipe.
Congrats to the winner!
I’ve been checking out their site since you posted the contest and it is great! We had the chicken and salsa soup the other night for dinner and it was mmm mmm good.
Ooh congrats lucky winner! I really love their website, I signed up for the weekly emails and we’re going to try the Balsamic Chicken and Asparagus on Saturday! Everything looks yummy on that website…
Ahhh! I was so excited till i saw “squash.” I don’t like squash so it definently wasn’t this Amanda!
I am super excited to be the “squash” Amanda!! :) I have never won a giveaway in my life, so this is a great day. Thanks YHL for such a great site and for directing us to You’ve Got Supper-their recipes look yummy and (just as importantly)easy! And I will admit the squash recipe is not an original, I found it online: basically, you cut a butternut squash in half, length-wise, scoop out the seeds, baste with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, place 3 whole cloves of peeled garlic in each squash “belly” and bake at 400 for 60-70 minutes. The perfect fall meal!
Thanks a million, YHL!!!
Hey Liz,
They are. Always! How can we possibly choose when there are over 1,600 entries!? We just include little details about the winner’s response in each winner post since many of them have common names so we don’t want others to get confused (which is why we mentioned Amanda’s butternut squash recipe- it further helps to identify which commenter we’re referring to). As always, responses had no bearing on the winner because (as we stated in the post above) we always use random.org to generate the winners blindly (with no mind paid to what each person says to enter). You can read more about our giveaway policies right here. Hope it helps!
