Fab Freebie: Outside In

If you guys haven’t heard of papernstitch before, you’ve gotta check it out. It’s another great online source for handmade art (prints, photos, knits, etc) that’s curated monthly to exhibit a fresh crop of handpicked artists for you to shop and draw inspiration from. This week, papernstitch is giving away a set of four photographic prints from one of their favorite photographers: Allison Trentelman of Rocky Top Studio. Allison is a nature photographer whose snowy birds and forest floor photo collections almost feel like they were shot in some fairy tale world (actually the Maine coast – but we still wouldn’t be surprised to spot a nymph or two in the background). We love that they let you bring both a bit of nature and lighthearted whimsy to your walls.
So here’s how you can score a dose of outdoors for your indoors this week:

INSIDE PLEASE!! I love cuddling up with a good book or watching movies with friends. However, I’m always up for a fun outdoor day at one of the local theme parks. Love living in Orlando! ;o)
OUTSIDE PLEASE–as long as there is an espresso bar nearby :-) that’s my idea of “camping!”

I’m learning to love the outdoors even more with age. Just had my first camping experience a few weeks ago! Granted, it was in my friend’s back yard, but hey…you’ve got to start somewhere. And these prints are fantastic…they’d look so good in my bedroom!

Husband and I just bought a home 2 months ago and I love nothing more than being at home enjoying!
INSIDE PLEASE!! I am much more of an inside person, I like to be comfortable and one of my favorite things is probably to lay in front of a nice warm fire till I fall asleep! Plus i’m really not a fan of dirt or physical exertion :D

INSIDE PLEASE! My comforter and I are not to be separated during the winter months. Unfortunately I have not yet perfected my overcoat-made-of-a-comforter, so I stay inside.
INSIDE PLEASE. I’d like to fancy myself an outdoors person, but if I’m really honest with myself, I’d probably usually prefer to be inside, cuddled up with a book or a good tv show.

It really depends on my mood, and the weather, and just what we feel like doing. I love searching for treasures in the woods, curling up with a book or some crocheting in front of the fire, camping, and playing board games around the kitchen table.
“INSIDE PLEASE” I love being inside during the hot Summers in Ca and Chilly Winters…and outside during the fall and spring time, going for walks, framers markets, my sons soccer games etc.
Outside Please! I love camping outside with only nature and the stars. 2 things I love: The smell of crisp cold air and when the tip of my nose is cold. Perfect!
Outside please! My perfect day is spent at my parents’ place on the Chesapeake Bay, soaking up the sun, and snapping photos for my own photo blog.
