Sherry and I have a system when we paint a room. She edges (aka: cuts in) and I roll. We both claim to have the more difficult job- and sometimes I think we’re both right (hello painting brick?), but this week’s prize could prove us both wrong…
The RYOBI Duet Power Paint System is specially made for two people who, like us, enjoy tackling a paint job together. We haven’t taken one for a spin yet, but the idea that both of us could have fresh paint pumped straight from the can to separate his-and-hers painting attachments (a roller for me, an edger for Sherry) almost makes us want to break out our paint swatches again. Heck, there’s even a sprayer attachment if someone’s feeling particularly daring.
But since we don’t have any looming paint projects to tackle, we want one lucky winner (and their handy painting assistant) to try this puppy on for size. Here’s how to enter:

DUET TO ME!!!!!!!! I have a love hate relationship with painting and this machine would be AMAZING! My fav duet would have to be Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers- classic!

Having trouble thinking of my “fav” but I am currently digging Kenny Chesney’s Duet With Dave Matthews, “I’m Alive.”
DUET TO ME. This maybe an offbeat duet, but I LOVE the Ray Lamontagne and Damien Rice “duet” of sorts to the Bee Gees “To Love Somebody” (doesn’t hurt that was our wedding song!). I get chills listening every time.

I’ll be all boring and go with my favorite musical, Les Miserables. I love the duet between Marius and Eponine “A Little Fall of Rain” as Eponine dies in Marius’s arms. I’m a crier! Actually my fav song in the show is “One Day More,” but that’s not a duet.
Cool prize! If I were to win this one, we might have to paint the 2nd bedroom, office, and hallway awhile instead of waiting for when I’m expecting, just because it would be so easy!
Duet to me…oh let’s see Debbie Reynolds & Gene Kelly – You Are My Lucky Star from Sing In The Rain. Another good one is No Air by Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown.

Right now I am loving the “The Chain” on Ingrid Michaelson – but I guess that isn’t a real duet more like a round.
So my second choice would have the be “Don’t Know Much” by Linda Ronstadt & Aaron Neville.

My favorite duet is a three-way tie. There’s the duet of my formative years when I was hooked on Reba McEntire “Does He Love You?” with Linda Davis and then there’s the always toe tapping “Easy Lover” by Phil Collins and Phillip Bailey and then there’s the almost too bromantic “All for One” with Sting, Rod Stewart and Bryan Adams. Maybe that one counts as a trio?

“Duet to me!”
We are in the process of finishing our basement (see some of our pictures at http://ginifred.blogspot.com/search/label/finishing%20basement). We are just finishing up the mudding and sanding of the sheetrock, and are ready to start priming and painting. This painting system would be a Godsend! We have 1800 sq ft of floor space down there consisting of 6 rooms to paint – no clue what that converts to in wall square footage…
You mentioned old school Sonny and Cher. Of course the song that comes to mind is “I Got You Babe”. Funny enough, my husband and I randomly break into song, and this seems to be the most popular selection.

Well its a hard thing to pick-just one favorite duet-I think the first thing that came to mind was Donnie and Marie-I always thought they were fun to watch and I loved the variety show they had-I miss variety shows. I sure could use the sprayer-we are working on painting the entire interior of a home-and we aren’t young folk-HA! (I guess you could figure that out with our duet pic)

I am a fan of the Grease soundtrack, and the “You’re the One That I Want” duet with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.
DUET TO ME! Hmmm… duets… I can’t actually think of any. But I’m also the guy that thinks he knows the lyrics to a song, but really doesn’t. And even though I’ve heard a song on the radio 100 times, I still don’t know who sings it.
DUET TO ME! The duet I’m loving right now is Jay-Z and Alicia Keys in Empire State of Mind.
Duet to me! I think the best duet I’ve ever heard is basically every song on DJ BC’s Black and Blue Album, an incredible blend of Weezer’s Blue Album and Jay Z’s Black Album. “99 Problems” + “Buddy Holly” = amazing!

Duet to me…. My favorite duet, and probably most peaceful and relaxing, is from Léo Delibe’s opera “Lakmé”. “The Flower Duet” just is absolutely timeless! Thanks~
DUET TO ME! My parents played the Frank Sinatra Duets album all the time when I was a child. I always loved Frank Sinatra and Natalie Cole singing “They Can’t Take That Away from Me”. The album would be on while they were making dinner and they would dance around the kitchen. It’s one of those priceless childhoold moments that makes me smile!
