Sherry & John- For someone that was going to hang the bamboo blinds on a double window such as the one in the this room, how would you suggest to hang them? B/c our living room window is the same with a pretty thick piece of wood trim around the two windows and then down the middle? I just can’t figure how it would look best and I hate to put holes in the trim?!

i just about died when i saw that room. i mean, look at that space. it’s like, the size of my apartment?
i love that she knows who she is and is not willing to change that just to make her room look ‘cool’. i remember many of my classmates when i was growing up doing that. all i had to work with was a pantry turned bedroom. this is an amazing board and great colors. cannot wait for the after pics!!

Hey Margaret,

We love the pieces you chose and think they go really well together. We would definitely go with a textured rug as opposed to a patterned one since you don’t want it to compete with the chair, so something like a woven jute rug in a sandy tan tone would be nice, or even a light tan colored flokati rug would be great. Just think texture over print or pattern and go at least a shade lighter than the furnishings and you should be a-ok!

Hey Sherry and John, I was wondering if you could answer a quick question for me. I just got new living room furniture and need to find an area rug. The problem is we got to accent chairs with a bold design on them and I dont know how to find anything that would go good. I fell like everything clashes, is is okay to have two different patterns? Any help you could give me would be great. Thanks

OH!MY!GOD!
Considering that I’m NOT the bold-color type of person, I absolutely and totally loved this moodboard. How do you do it??
I really liked the new furniture arrangement and don’t even get me started on the curtains, the stensil and the fan!
