Gail, I LOVE the rug although it is VERY expensive. However, it’s obviously up to you and if you are on your own then it’s not going to get too dirty – just don’t offer anyone irn bru in the house as you cannot get the stains out. Your flat is going to look amazing.

Thanks all for the suggestions. The fixture I have in my foyer is at this site http://www.bellacor.com/productdetail/124281.htm. I’ve seen other fixtures that resemble it but the one here looks like it matches perfectly. I may have to order it from oversees as I paid MUCH more for mine (although it was on sale from the price listed now).

Thanks for the rug seller suggestion Janis – I’ll check that out. I found this one but can’t decide whether it’s a bit too overwhelming (and pricey!).
