Did you keep them & use them on Ed? We are looking at a bed with IKEA and didn't realise how many options they have for something so simple as the slatted thing. We have been saving for the Savvy Rest too, but now the options have increased with the talalay material and dunlop materials. I'll be honest that I didn't purchase it for earth-friendly reasons but I do see them as a bonus. The heat factor is different than a memory foam mattress. As it was explained to us by our mattress company, latex actually draws approximately 2 degrees of heat from the body which is disbursed amongst the latex layers allowing you to sleep more comfortably. It's a lucky number seven anniversary for us and I have to say, this bed is way better than copper. Love the blog! We bought a natural latex bed from Natura and found that the latex was poured evenly (had a slope) and we also awoke a lot during the night because we were hot and sweaty. We returned and wonder if our experience was because of the latex or if the bed was defective?
