Oh yes, I think they say right on the site that you can use it with a boxspring or a slatted wood bed without one. Maybe call them to make sure? Ours is still going strong!

This is clearly a post where everyone wants your advice :) We have a more modern bed frame as well (where a box spring won't work) and I just wondered if Savvy Rest "okayed" the lack of box spring with their warranty? Our original mattress has done terribly on it (I don't think it was a great mattress to begin with, but sans boxspring, it's absolutely horrid). I'm really loving the idea of getting a "green" mattress, though!

Thanks for the Great Tip. I've had 3 mattress sets in the past 5 years (can you say "Gotta raise the $600 ceiling") I will begin my research.

I've finally starting clicking on the links on you site. You guys have provided such helpful resources beyond how to sand correctly (something I'm still getting better at!)

Sorry for the confusion, what we said in the post is correct: we have a medium, medium, soft. It's definitely not on the soft side, so if you need a really soft mattress you might want to swap one or two of the mediums for a soft.

So far we still have no complaints! Love it! It was very heavy and a pain to move, but other than that it's awesome!

We've slept on ours with regular old Ikea slats (I think the entry level ones) in the old house (for about a year) and so far in this house on the slightly higher cost ones with the slight curve (for about 5 months). Both seem to work really well. Hope it helps!
