Shall We Dance?
The voting for BHG’s 48-Hour Challenge is in full swing and we’re back with our weekly remember-to-vote post (which is actually part of our agreement with BHG, so head over there and get in on the fun). Of course you all remember that we gussied up our front porch as part of their 48-Hour Challenge, and now there’s a $5,000 bonus on the line for the blogger who earns the most votes for their project. Imagine how many home improvements we could take on with that hunk of cheddar!
But how could we ask you fine people to spend a moment of your time voting for your favorite project each and every day until June 12th (fingers crossed that it’s ours) without taking the time to entertain you in return? Betcha didn’t expect that we’d dance for votes…
Look at that technique. John’s smug expression says it all. Not only can we boogie down, we can both do it in heels (while wearing a few of our favorite decor colors).
In short: just follow this link, click the arrow til you see our names/porch, register (just once and never again) and vote each and every day if you so desire. That’s right, everyone can vote once a day until June 12th. And since they update the voting tally each day, it’s safe to say that when we’re not on the dance floor we can be found on the edge of our seats!

2. Go crazy with aforementioned device, be-dezzling everything as if your life depended on it

Good question! We don’t like to count our chickens or jinx ourselves, but we certainly would use the money towards some fun and fabulous home renovations and share all the gory and glorious details with you guys! We also love donating to a local housing charity (The Better Housing Coalition here in Richmond) so we’d definitely pay it forward and probably redo the master bath, retile the fireplace hearth in the living room, and make some built-in shelves in the hallway with the rest. It can’t hurt to dream, right…
