This giveaway can be summed up in two words (well, one’s technically just a letter): Z Gallerie.
The fine people at the big Z.G. have been very good to us (you may remember the kind birthday present they recently sent Sherry), and now they’re about to be very good to one of you. They’ve graciously offered up not one, not two, not even just three, but FOUR pieces of their collection to one lucky reader. And we can personally vouch for each item because (here’s our favorite part) they’re all accessories that we’ve purchased for our own home. Yep, consider it your own little Young House Love starter kit of sorts. It includes:
The Large Atlantis Clam Shell (which we use as a fruit bowl in our kitchen, priced at $45)…
…Sherry’s cherished white Ceramic Rhino (priced at $25)…
…and two, count ‘em two, Lucerne Sconces (totalling $80):
That’s $150 worth of our favorite items from Z Gallerie. We had to buy ‘em all (actually, I think every single one was a birthday present for Sherry at some point) but one of you is going to get them all on the house. A lot of people have told me that the vintage painting of three Siamese cats that I found at a local thrift store (for under $5!) is “so me”! I love to hear it because it is by far my favorite piece of artwork in my home!

I think my signature item is this really awesome abstract painting I got in europe – its got a very modern appeal but at the same time is very warm and inviting and works with lots of different decor. I absolutely love it!

Cheeky but still chic items are so me – I have this white ceramic milk carton on my buffet table as a decoration. I love things like that – things that look great but are still fun and not so serious.

I really like the way you use the shell – I might have to steal that idea! My “signature item” is my pair of Staffordshire Dogs, actually I should probably put that in quotations, because I’m pretty sure they’re not authentic. I found them in the back of an antique store for only $50 and since then have seen similar looking dogs for $1000! but who cares?! mine were both affordable and perfect for me!

It has meaning, it’s upcycled, it’s on the rustic side, and combines natural wood and bright white– my perfect item!

All of our friends, family and neighbors will tell you that the one thing about our house that sums us up entirely is our 30 ft flag pole in the front yard. People around here even use it as a landmark! We’re a long line of military family and having the flag pole (with the American flag and the POW flag) and the service star in our front window lets the world know who we are.

My signature item? The dragonflies I painted in my guest bath. A wall of mirrors in our half bath. And I think I just hung a signature item — a canvas with orange birds — in my kitchen!!

My signature piece is a mid-century modern sideboard that was my grandparents. I have always coveted it, even when I was really young. So when I got my own house my grandmother gave it to me!

I would have to say our signature piece is the crazy grass mural we painted on the wall of our garage. We were inspired by the Alice in Wonderland level of the video game Kingdom Hearts ;)

The signature item in my home is probably my book collection and the many different bookends I use to display them. I am an avid reader, and I love using creative, unique bookends to display the books I love.

Our signature item is definitely our entertainment system. Not just the TV, I mean the whole set of 5 huge speakers to create just the right arrangement for music or movies. The mood lighting on dimmer, easily accessible side tables for drinks and snacks and the reclining couch…everything is about our own lifestyle.
