An indoor track/dog park area where my dogs could run like mad on cold rainy days. Then of course, since we’re dreaming here, a dog-cleaning station where they will be thoroughly washed and dried before entering the rest of the house. Clean, tired dogs. Ahhh, bliss.

I would build an office or library. We only have two small bedrooms in addition to the master, and when we have guests over …they have to split sleeping areas- between the guest bedroom and the other guest bedroom/office/craftroom/ future nursery. :(

Well, we’re currently building our new home. But, there’s not money for everything… so, since our basement will eventually have a family room… I would have to say that if money were no issue, we would enlarge said family room to accomodate a pool table, fooseball and poker tables. As well, the addition we would add, is a HOME GYM!!

I’d looove a big laundry room fully equipped with windows, build-in cabinets, sinks, iron board AND a tv-set (because actually I hate washing clothes or ironing!)
Even thought we just moved to our brand new built house, I didn’t manage to make such a room…all my hopes are now set to the unfinished (due to lack of money) semi-basement!

Oh, I’ve been dreaming of my room addition… off the back of the house I want a nice big room that will serve as my craft room and my homeschool room. Wait – I shouldn’t put my craft room first, huh? OK – a room for homeschool and some room for my sewing machine. There – that sounds better – a bit less selfish. I want windows that surround the entire room, but only from halfway up… so I can have built in desks/countertops/shelfs/storage that line the room. In the middle, a huge craft table. In one corner, a big utility sink for our craft projects, and since I have 2 boys, we’ll also use it for cleaning off mud. The south facing wall will have access to our current deck (which will have to become a tad bit smaller due to the addition). Now, I am waiting to win a huge chunk of $ or to find a long-lost uncle who will pass on his enormous wealth to me, b/c that’s the only way my dream addition will happen anytime soon.

Lately as I’ve been falling asleep I’ve fantasized about a sunny, three-season porch (probably because I am dripping green with envy over John & Sherry’s sunroom). It would be an extension of my tiny house, but also a way to really enjoy my awesome gardens and backyard. Give me more sunlight and comfort and I’m a happy chica!

All of my clothes are actually in the guest room’s closet because the one in the master is TINY! I would LOVE a walk-in closet (attached to the master!) that is the size of an actual room, complete with dressing table for make-up and jewelry and a chaise for calming down after petty “I have nothing to wear!” outbursts.
