I have a cat that loves to lay down on the keyboard. I’ll be in the other room and hear the sound of a key being held down. My wife and I laugh and say that he his working.

Our 55 pound Doberman/Lab mix likes to sleep on the bed, right in the middle. He growls if we even so much as brush up against him. Moving him is like moving a mack truck!

What a fun post! I’ve got two kitties and they make any task more difficult. One “chases” the mouse cursor as it moves across the screen, and God forbid I try to read in bed… she will come and lay between my head and the book or better yet, lean against the book until she pushes it over, then get ON TOP of it. I haven’t been able to finish a book in two years. The other lies on her back in the middle of the kitchen floor while I’m cooking, despite me having backed up onto her tail multiple times. I guess I should take it as a compliment, that she’s willing to risk pain for a bit of my cooking… right? ;)

I’ve got two cats. One of them loves to hide under the newspaper as it’s stretched across the table. The other likes to sit in front of whatever I’m reading when I’m laying on the couch.

They also enjoy being right up close and personal wih crafts and sit right in front of the monitor when I am on the computer.

My fiance and I decided if we ever get dogs (unlikely, since I’m allergic), we’ll name them Grizz and Dot Com, like the characters on 30 Rock. Even greater because they’d probably be little teeny Westies or dachsunds with those big names.

When reading this post, i felt compelled to comment. My partner and i have two cats. Ruby, who always walks over my keyboard whilst im working and Leo who regularly sits on Deans lap when he is reading the paper. We were discussing what to call our future dog last night which is to be a Boston Terrier… name yet to be decided.

Oh, so cute! I love it how their litle paws poke out in random directions when they snooze.

Now, on that annoying habit thing! My cheeky puppy gets annoyed when you read magazines or catalogues instead of paing atention to her…so she lays down on them. If you read them on your lap, she sits on them!

Its so cute though..how can I complain!

Dude – sweet kicks…nothing is better than a broken in pair of chucks :) and as if you didn’t know – Burger is soooo darn lovable. He has a stray appendage on the keyboard and a wee paw on my heart…he puts the wow in chihuahua!

That Burger… he is so evil looking!! LOL. What a cutie. Yes, I have a cat and whenever I lay a newpaper or magazine down flat he immediately comes over and sits on it. And yes, when I am typing at my computer he walks back and forth in front of my face and sometimes just plops himself down right in front of keyboard.
