I have a Den that still has the hideous 1970's faux wood panelling and I've been desperately searching online to find a way to paint over it without the paper peeling off in the process. We cannot afford to take it down and drywall or install actually beadboard. If you have any advice whatsoever, I'd love to hear it! I would be looking to prime and then paint it a light cream color.
