I had forgotten about the feather tree and how much I love it. I think I will give a go at creating my own this year- thanks for that tip Sherry. Look-out, here I come with my glue gun and feathers- it could get messy! I can't wait to begin the Christmas decorating season! I was just at Hobby Lobby picking up a few things for Christmas decor (yes, already… early, I know!) and wanted to search the blog for this post. We also have a smaller dining room, but we squeezed in a wider table for more seating...(Yes, it's a bit tight here and there... ;)). You are right, we tend to do family style, and leave the serving plates in the middle of tables, so people can get to more food later. We should definitely try the buffet next time tho!
