Hey Dan- Thanks so much for the kind words! We thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and we're crossing our fingers that we run into you again sometime.

Lindsay- The chandelier is actually from West Elm and we snagged it for just $99 (it later went on sale for $50 or so- amazing, I know!). Unfortunately they no longer sell the exact version but do offer an extremely comparable rectangular chady so be sure to check out westelm.com. Happy shopping!

xoxo,

Just wanted to say a quick hi! I was fortunate enough to be able to shoot with these two for their inspirational segment on the Rate My Space TV show! They were a blast to work with and really know their stuff. I have even started reading their blog myself because of how awesome it is! Burger is also the cutest dog that I have ever seen! Keep up the good work you two, you've got a good thing going!

Congrats! Now I have a silly question - which hopefully you will see - where on earth did you get that beautiful Shell Chandelier? I've seen them around but the size & scale is absolutely perfect and I must find one. I've tried to look at pasts posts to find refrence but alas, I am not having much luck. Thank you!!

Yay! We're sending out a big thank you to all who watched (and those who can't wait to view the online video that we'll soon be posting- stay tuned!). We love that you guys carved out 30 minutes to see ten seconds of us talking about a room that you're already quite familiar with. In fact, we're still beaming a week later.

The show will actually be on again on January 10th at 11pm and January 24th at 5:30 pm so anyone who missed our fleeting debut has a second (and third) chance to catch our fifteen seconds of fame. And of course we have an online video clip in the works that you'll be able to peep sometime in the near future too. We're just so grateful that you guys even cared to tune in and we had to say "thank you thank you thank you" for sharing in our enthusiasm for the whole HGTV adventure!

xoxo,
Sherry

Y'all were wonderful!! Your exuberance, charm, passion and sense of fum that comes through this website really showed through in your short segment. I would watch a show on HGTV with you two hosting. =) Seeing your bedroom "live" was a real treat. Behind the scenes photos were also cool.

I watched it too! Fortunately or unfortunately, my little guy was up sick so I was up at 10p to watch the show. You all did great!

Sherry, I thought your voice was fine. It was actually just as I expected you to sound. John on the other hand had a deeper voice than I expected. All three of you (including the Burg) did great. It was fun to watch.

Hey Molly,

The great thing about the whole process was that it wasn't overwhelming at all, which I think was achieved by not psyching us out with too much info ahead of time. Other than mentioning that we shouldn't wear black, white or patterned clothing, we were on our own. John was make-up free and I just did mine as usual (nothing extra heavy for the lights because I was doing my best to avoid a Tammy Faye moment).

And as for rehearsing any lines, that was also blissfully non-nerve-inducing (well, less-nerve-inducing-than-it-could-have-been is probably more like it since nerves would explain why my voice decided to go up, oh, an octave or two).

The super personable camera guy just said "let's have a conversation with Angelo and C.V." so we Skyped them and immediately started talking about what stage her room was in (just got painted) and where her hubby was (our launching missiles or something). Then Angelo gradually started asking room related things and we answered him and before we knew it we were done with the whole video conference thing.

The whole thing was totally insane but super fun at the same time. Thanks everyone for sharing our enthusiasm!

xoxo,
Sherry
