I know it’s super sad right? Fingers crossed that we get to keep all of our existing favorite mags and maybe even get a great big stack of new ones next year when the economy picks up (I hope I hope I hope).

I am sooo upset- nothing made me happier than snuggling on my couch with some tea and cookies and reading my “Cottage Living”. I loved that they featured houses that looked like they could be real.

Ok, so there’s good news and there’s bad news. Bad news first: another reliable NY source said she heard that Domino announced internally last Friday that they’re folding. But the good news is that when I emailed a very very very senior editor (actually the editor in chief at another shelter mag who happens to be a friend of a friend) and asked if Domino was donzo she replied “honey, not in this lifetime.”

She makes a great point. I mean their readership is off the charts, so it would be Twilight Zone indeed if the rumors are true. Fingers crossed…

i don’t know whether to continue with my plan & subscribe to domino (to single handedly save its future existence of course) or keep status quo–continue buying it religiously every month at the airport Hudson News. I would be even more heart broken if i was 2 months into a subscription.

(usually there’s nothing but happiness from this site…what’s with all the doom & gloom???)

I only just started subscribing to Domino too… I’m only on the 3rd issue! I love that magazine… Though the plus side will likely be more traffic for fab blogs like yours!
