I have 2 down comfortors from said place that I use on my bed. One of them is 6 years old, the other is 3. BOTH are still in great condition. Recommendation: buy a light color that will not fade. For the full-sized bed in your guest room, you'd probably be safe with a standard 5x8 rug. But when it doubt, go bigger because it's better to err on the side of more overhang than less.
