Don't they make one of those plastic bin thingies you can screw onto the inside of a kitchen cabinet door, that would hold your plastic wrap, etc? Try Home Depot/Lowe's. We moved into this house a year ago and the previous owner was a librarian by trade, and I'm tellin' ya she had the kitchen organized!!! Those plastic door hanging/holding things are inside every single door - they're amazing! I've seen them in Lowe's and Home Depot.

That spice rack came from Bed Bath & Beyond. As for an idea for the stuff on your fridge, what about a big basket or bin or box that they could be slipped into like a drawer? Hope it helps!

Thanks!; we don't have a lot of drawer space so I was thinking maybe a rack or something? I just don't want them to be out in the open. Also, I saw in your other kitchen posts your cupboard organization which I think is great; where did you find your spice rack?

We have a shallow drawer (much like a silverware drawer) where we keep paper lunch bags, ziplock bags, tinfoil, etc. Hope it helps!

Hi, love your site! I was just wondering, how do you guys store your Ziploc bags, foil, saran wrap, etc.? Right now we just have all of ours (with lunch pals & other random things of course) stacked on top of our refrigerator. It all definitely needs a new, neater home! Any ideas?

So good to know! We've since seen them at Target too. They're such a great bang for your buck.

I love these canisters and think they are so functional. We change breakfast foods so fast in our house, but a couple of things are constant...pet food and granola bars. Those canisters are always fresh and full.

I wish I had more space to use more of them as they are so pretty to display.

BTW, love your blog and you two are so resourceful!

I love using glass jars like these. I also use the ones from Ikea, which are super cheap and air-tight. My fave place to store these is in the bathroom. We have ones for cottom balls, q-tips, bars of soap, makeup sponges, pedicre instruments, etc. While you're probably wondering why the air-tight for non-perishable items? Answer: We have kittens who love fun little items like q-tips, who learned how to open the regular jars!!
