Yup, you'd need to carry them across the whole room or nook (just like we did in our laundry area as well) so you don't see the sides of the blinds. Or you could hang a piece of wood to create a "side" to obscure the view of the blinds from the side and also conceal everything behind it as if it was a cabinet with a blind for a door. Heck you could even use a third blind instead of a piece of wood to make the side if you wanted. Hope it helps!

I really like the blinds. But I hate when pics are angled like that so I can't see the full picture!! Little things like that bug the crap out of me. My question is: What do you do on the side of the shelves?? Would you need to carry the blinds all across the top of the room? Otherwise it seems like you would see the sides of the shelves?

stuff like this make me want to rip out the beautiful cabinets in my laundry room so i can install bamboo shades like that. and plaster up the window so i have wall space for cute vinyl letters.

hubby barely let me hang my clothesline in our laundry room, so i doubt i'm doing any remodeling any time soon.

Hey Bethany,
Good question - it is a little confusing without the benefit of looking at the hardware provided when you buy those blinds. They come with a bracket that allows you to attach them to either the back wall or, in this case, the ceiling. That way you don't need something in the middle to affix them.
Hope that helps and glad you asked!
ok, as a complete non-handy person, I've been wanting to hang those shades in my laundry room, but how do you hang two across with nothing to afix it to in the middle? Pardon my ignorance, but I really want to know!
