Oodles Of Mood Boards

A while ago someone requested a searchable database of all of our mood boards.  Brilliant suggestion. Unfortunately, my web design skills aren’t quite advanced enough to build that yet. But I’ve made the first step by collecting all 100+ mood boards into one, image-heavy, easy-to-browse place:  Flickr.

So check out our gallery of Design Dilemma Mood Boards and let me know what you think.  I plan to someday tag everything more specifically so you can search by color scheme, design style or furniture options… but for now you can at least try searching by room.  And if you see one you want the details on, the link under the photo will bring you back to our original post with all of the descriptions and product links.

It’s at least a good start…right?

It’s a great start! It’s awesome to be able to flip through the moodboards and then if you see something you’re interested in get directed to the blog post with the complete description.

Wow! Sounds like an ENORMOUS task is in store for you, John. Good luck putting it all together.

They look so pretty all arranged like this! The turquoise really pop out at me.

Great job! The upper right corner of that image is calling me… I love blue!

Fabulous!! I can’t wait to peruse all your chic ideas.

wow! great job! i want to live there (in all of them).

So super considerate of you to compile them. I love looking at that collage. You really get a sense of your style, just by looking at those tiny pictures.

Phew, I’m relieved to hear you guys appreciate this. I do have a task ahead of me, Katie, but should be mindless enough that I can just sit in front of the tube while doing it.

We had fun looking at all of them in a collage form too, so this was even a fun exercise for us. Let me know if you all think of any other ideas to make searching these mood boards helpful.

not so bad then!

(I think it’s a great idea)
