That's so bizarre - my sisters and I all had mirrored doors as well - must have been all the rage in Burke. Emily had to sit on the floor cutting her bangs because she had a folded notecard on her perfectly made bed that read "please don't sit" or something to that effect : )

Saw this today

http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?itemdescription=true&itemCount=10&startValue=21&selectedProductColor=&sortby=&id=15563828&parentid=A_FURN_WALL&sortProperties=+product.marketingPriority,-product.startDate&navCount=96&navAction=poppushpush&color=

After seeing this the other day here on your site. These are smaller but it's a nice option for a smaller wall...and already white. But no candleholders. Just sayin....I thought of this post elsewhere.

Ok, my sis Emily is right, I did grow up with mirrored closet doors (all the kids' bedrooms in my parents house had them) and I can attest that it certainly was not kinky (aren't those mirrored ceilings?).
Now Emily, are you going to own up to spending your high school years sitting in front of your mirrored door curling your bangs? If Katie, Justine or Holly are reading this they know what I'm talking about...
Anyways, enough about mirrored doors. Though I am looking forward to how they'd turn out with those curtains on either side.
John,
this is where you own up to having mirrored closet doors in your bedroom as a child, but of course so did I. We have mom and dad to thank or blame....

Blank slates are the best, aren't they? They allow the imagination to run wild.

Personally I like mirrored doors. They can make a small room look larger and can help add light to a dark space by reflecting from a window. The idea to frame the closet with curtains is nifty!

The chair is to die for. i wish it came in other colours.

Yep, one of Manisha's complaints were those dated mirrored doors, so we tried to make them work with the reflective and glam scheme (so they fit in a lot better). So glad you guys are diggin' the mood board so far!
There must be a lot of kinky people then, because mirrored closets are pretty standard in all new housing where I live.
