Hey Shannon,

We usually get away without a floor plan but in some of our more complicated layouts sometimes we draw one up and send it directly to the homeowner (without including it in the design dilemma). But seeing as you think it’ll help the readers as well, we’ll be sure to include any and all that we create on the blog in the future (although they’re usually few and far between since most arrangements are pretty straightforward).

We definitely think the best way to envision everything after the makeover is to get some after pics from our fabulous homeowners- so stay tuned for those as they come in. You know we’ll get them up for all to see as soon as they hit our inbox! Stay tuned…

I love your design dilema makeovers. I was wondering if you might consider doing a pencil sketch of floor plans moving forward so we as readers can visualize how you layout each room. I love to decorate but often get stuck in traditional layout patterns and I think if you included pencil sketches with your inspiration boards it would be very helpful!

Gosh, this one must have been so much fun for you. A practically empty space, and such amazingly chic stuff to start with (why o why do those ghost chairs have to be so expensive?!). I love how you pulled it together for her. Her office will be so beautiful that I doubt she’ll get any work done. She’ll just sit there in a blissed out state all day.

And Jaimee, we’re so happy you love the tripod floor lamp that we dug up for you from Walmart! It’s definitely a less expensive option for Mai, so if she snags it she can put the extra cash towards the new pendant light above…

I really like the addition of a larger table! A glam light fixture could also help her get the look she’s going for while keeping the room feminine enough so that stronger colors could be brought in.
