Simple Is Better

Not in all cases, but in many. As demonstrated by this amazingly serene and simple laundry room:

No expensive granite counters. No fancy upper storage cabinets. Just some soothing repetition in the form of three sweet (and functional) laundry baskets and a calm whitewashed appearance. Yummy.

I *love* the counter built above the w/d. What a great way to avoid having socks slip between the w/d when you set laundry on top!

I love this laundry room. Beats my dark basement any day.
I frequent Benita’s blog and Flickr photos. She is fantastic.
