Brand new comment on a VERY old post but I just found your blog and am rereading past entries (never really “old” because you can always use tips and ideas in new ways). I´m rambling again. Anywho, I was tempted to comment because this actually used some of the same ideas as my wedding (Dec 08). Well, not all of it as we had a tented wedding at night (in Peru) but some of it and I´m sorry if I´m rambling again.

Everything was white with chocolate colored accents (and some green thrown in with the flowers). We actually had 8-person square tables where 7 were white and one chair was brown. Dance floor was painted with brown/white stripes plus we had a “lounge” type area with funky brown/white printed cushions on the furniture. It was lovely. *sigh*

I like that the bridesmaids wore tea-length gowns. The chair favors are adorable and different! The fireworks, that’s the magic of NY, always something wonderful happening there.
