Oh my word, that’s such a restful space. I like how that woven runner cozies up the dark tile. And the light fixtures!

I’m letting out a huge sigh right now. Our house has been for sale for months and I am DYING to get a new (old) house so that we can turn an ugly duckling into a swan, so to speak. Several great ideas have come from your blog, so thanks! :)

I love this entire house….I wish it was my home! The Holiday was such a great movie with impecable taste from the clothing to the homes. I loved her little cottage as well! This movie has been on cable like every other day and my husband always laughs at me because I always watch it! I have white huge walls like these and dark floors…please do an idea board of this movie!

This is the epitome of my dream home!

Love everything about it!

So glad you’re sharing my love for this room. Mmmm, yummy. Creating a mood board inspired by The Holiday is an interesting idea- and it’s officially on my list of things to do. Stay tuned…

xo,
Sherry

Ooo, yes please. I can totally see myself reclined on the couch and flicking through some sophisticated magazine, thinking of how fabulous my home is…

And then I imagine my toddler daughter tearing through that hallway, knocking potted plants and lamps over, and I think to myself, “Hmm, perhaps not…”

It’s still gorgeous, though.
