I really love this house! It’s so warm and inviting, and when I can walk into a house (or a blog tour of one, at least!) and totally “get” someone’s personality just by looking around, that’s the sign of a real home to me. This one just also happens to be oozing with vintage charm, which makes me love it even more. Great tour…thanks for sharing!

This tour is making me rethink my current lets-neutralize-all-the-walls-in-the-house project, and I’m getting all nostalic about the charming kitchen tile countertop & faucet (EXACTLY like Lesley & Jeff’s!) that I had in my first apartment. I loved that kitchen.

I love that last picture of the screened porch. I’m at a loss as to what to do with our screened porch since it just has wood planks for the floor. I’m afraid to put furniture out there (cracks = bugs)… I’d love to have a painted concrete floor – I need to look into what we’d need to do. Thanks for the great ideas – I would have never thought to stencil concrete. It almost looks like a rug. I’m also thinking of taking off the linen closet door in our hall bathroom to expose the shelves (and open it up). Can’t wait to see what you do with yours!
