We did have an electrician hard wire the CB2 lamp into the ceiling, so it can be done! He installed it the exact same way we hung the West Elm capiz lamp in the master bedroom ourselves. Just cut the plug off the end of the cord and you'll expose two wires, which can be hardwired directly to the wires in your junction box. <br> You can probably do it yourself (if you're comfortable around wires and electricity).
