It's taken me weeks to read through your archives, but I'm almost at the beginning now. Been such a ride, thank you.

This post gave me such a laugh: "A renovator’s work is never done." Indeed. 2.5 years later you're going as strong as ever. It almost gives me a panic attack, being that WE just started ours! I have an inkling of what lies ahead (more panic attacks, hehehe) and I'm sure it'll take us 10! But thanks again for the motivational post (on February 17, 2010) which I know will have us get there. (Perhaps we'd get there faster if I stopped stalking yours and others blogs...? Now there's a thought. Evil, unbearable thought, but yet...)

Hey Mary,

Yup it was a clear bulb all the way! The funny thing is that when it burns out John would rather go out and grab another one asap than live with a frosted one in there- he's weird like that. And I love him for it.

xo,

Hi
I'm scrolling through your archives to catch up on your blogs. I came across this one & I was wondering what type of lightbulb you ended up using? I hope you used a clear bulb. I think it would look better then the one West Elm used in their photo. Cool light fixture, though.
