Light My Fire (A Pendant Light We LOVE)

Ok, so we’ve been passive aggressively looking for the perfect light fixture to hang over the dining room table in our big dining/living room to better delineate the dining area.

After repeatedly searching ebay, patrolling google, and leafing through a few dozen catalogs, I finally struck gold when I thought to hit up the CB2 website. Not only did they have a clean, classic light fixture, it was as easy on my wallet as it was on my eyes. After checking out options in the $200 to $400 range all morning, the $49 price tag almost knocked me off my chair. Needless to say, I wasted no time ordering it from the comfort of my little office in a bubble.

Sherry + John = a couple of “looking for a bargain” minkers, of whom the Sherry’s-Dad-Man is ultimately proud … by the way, whoever thought up the word “blog” made an awful choice; that word sounds like it means “barf” … maybe Sherry-the-namer can invent a better term (like “interlogue,” a mix of Internet and Dialogue) … -TheDad

Hey pops. So glad you got a chance to vent about the term “blog”. John actually (nerdishly) knew that “web log” was the initial term, and it sort of morphed into “blog” along the way. You have one smart son-in-law. Miss you! xoxo

    Hi Sherry and John,

Is this the Eden pendant light from CB2? And, is yours white or more of a tan linen color?

Thanks so much for your great blog!

    Take care,
    Susan

It looks like they’ve discontinued the light we purchased, though the Eden does look fairly similar. Ours was a bit more tan linen than the Eden appears to be though.

Seems like John did all the blogging at first but Sherry’s style in this -seem to be first post ever written- is all there! haha

    Love your dad’s comments haha
